Diesel Generator Service Technician
Job Description
As a Diesel Generator Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting routine testing, servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Performing scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel generators of various makes and models.
- Identifying and troubleshooting any mechanical / electrical issues in diesel generator systems.
- Collaborating with the service team to devise effective repair strategies and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Preparing service reports, list of parts used, labour hours, etc.
- Undertake other duties which are relevant to the position, as delegated by Manager.
Requirements
- Certificate course OR Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- Previous experience of working on diesel generators.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to trouble shoot problems.
- Ability to work independently and also in a team environment.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Air Compressor Service Technician
Job Description
- Inhouse/Onsite servicing of rotary screw, piston type and large road compressors.
- Attend compressor breakdowns, fault tracing and carrying out remedial action.
- Carrying out complete compressor overhaul.
- Making Service/Fault Reports on compressors attended Inhouse/Onsite.
- Work independently and unsupervised after completion of proper training.
- Communicate directly with customers for service & repairs.
- Supervise Compressed Air System Installation & carry out System Commissioning.
Requirements
- Certificate Course / Diploma (Mechanical / Refrigeration / Electrical) Engineering.
- Hands on experience of 8 years in servicing and repairs of Air Compressors.
- Experience in Pneumatic Systems.
- Fault-finding on Air Compressors.
- Required professional work attitude & integrity.
- Driver’s licence.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic IT skills.
